REVIEWS

Reviewer X

"...this is exactly the type of thing I like to and want to read: dark and both relevant and whimsical, with memorable characters, great quotability, and abundant humor. HUSH, HUSH doesn't stop at exciting--it was an experience so complete and enjoyable, it tides you over."

Karen Kincy

"...I read this book in one sitting. And it's no featherweight. Lots of unanswered questions and mysteries and are-they-going-to-kiss-or-not? moments kept me going."

Shut Up! I'm Reading.

"Just when I thought I knew what was going on, it changes on me completely and I'm still left guessing. It's paranormal, but it's also a mystery, which was a pleasant surprise to me."

Confessions of a Wandering Heart

"It's easy to get sucked in almost from page one and read straight through the end feeling like you haven't had a chance to take a breath. There's a sense of urgency and danger during almost the entire book that keeps you on the edge of your seat..."

La Femme Readers

"The storyline was addictive and I was eager to know the outcome. I fell in love with the characters, especially Patch."

Edge of Seventeen

"...I haven't had a crush on a literary man since Owen from Sarah Dessen's Just Listen, or the Weasley Twins (yes, BOTH of them!), and Patch fits the bill. There is something deliciously mischevious about Patch that will attract a lot of girl attention..."

The Eclectic Book Lover

"[Patch and Nora] together become increasingly sexy as the novel progresses and are made even more so by the undercurrent of danger that accents their relationship."

The Book Cellar

"The romance Becca Fitzpatrick writes is bewitching."

The Hiding Spot

"My favorite aspect of Hush, Hush? Definitely Patch!"

My Hobbies

"Hush Hush is one of the best books I have ever read and recommend it to others who want a book that keeps you guessing until the end."

My Favourite Books

As I genuinely hate doing these: “If you like this, you'll love” comparisons but I'd like to point out that hush, hush is a very unique novel and that although it will appeal to readers of SM's Twilight, it will also appeal to readers who liked Philip Pullman's books (for the dark undertones) JK Rowling (for the imagination) and Sarah Rees Brennan (for the creation of a top-notch anti-hero) and Richelle Mead (for her character creations).

Steph Su Reads

Becca Fitzpatrick is an absolute star at creating fantastic main characters: the attraction between Nora and Patch is sure to break thermometers. This one's a keeper on my shelf for sure, so that I can reread it whenever I need a rush of danger and impossible desire.

The Neverending Shelf

Patch is the kind of man that any girl would go out of her way to have. He is one of the most sexy, fascinating, and infuriating characters I have met in a long time.

Lauren's Crammed Bookshelf

When I set down to read this, I was expecting to read a couple of chapters and then go to bed, because it was getting late. Though, as soon as I hit chapter two, I was hooked by this addictive novel filled with action, forbidden romance, and fallen angels. Leaving my quick read of a couple chapters to turn into a night were I read a whole book in one sitting.

The Book Scout

Becca Fitzpatrick kept me at the edge of my seat until the last page, and even then I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next.
